To view the version history of a task path definition

The procedure to view the version history of a task path definition is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Cases and Tasks > Task Path Creator. The Task Path Creator window is displayed.
  2. Expand a module heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated task path definition, or enter its name into the Search Task Paths field. By default the list is filtered to show Current task path definitions. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. With the Details tab activated, all historical task path definition variants are displayed in the Version History summary table 1. Certain fields are worthy of special note and are captured in the table below 2.
  4. Click on Close.


Tip

1 By default, all task path definition variants are sorted chronologically; to aid analysis, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings.

Note

1 The Search Task Paths field will match against any element of the task path definition description.

2 Use the summary table Menu option to hide or reveal additional columns of information.


Field

Description

Version

The unique name used to identify each task path definition variant.

Effective From

The date on which each task path definition variant came into effect.

Effective To

The expiry date assigned to each task path definition variant.

Created By

The name of the end user who created each task path definition variant.

Last Updated By

The name of the end user who applied the most recent change to each task path definition variant.

Status

The current progression status automatically assigned to each task path definition variant i.e. Draft, Pending, Live or 'Blank' (indicating that the set expiration period has elapsed).

Comments

The contextual information describing the unique characteristics of each task path definition variant.
