The procedure to cancel a communication held in a queue is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > Communication Engine > Communication > Communication Queues. The Communication Generation window is displayed.
- Expand a queue generation heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated communication queue, or type its name into the Search Queues field. By default the list is filtered to show Current communication queues. An alternative filter can be applied using the Filter by drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations

- Click on Manage Queues. The Manage Queues tab is activated, revealing a list of communication jobs and their current status in the summary table.
- Select one or more desired communication jobs using the tick boxes provided

- Click on Cancel
2. The end user must affirm the cancellation and the communication job is updated with a status of Cancelled.
Tip
1 To aid the selection process, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings: Communication, Created By, Date Time Created, Status, Reason, No of Failures, No of Resend.
Note
1 The Search Queues field will match against any element of the communication queue name.
2 Only communication jobs with a status of Pending or Failed can be cancelled.
