To pause a communication queue

The procedure to pause a communication queue is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Communication Engine > Communication > Communication Queues. The Communication Generation window is displayed.
  2. Expand a queue generation heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated communication queue, or type its name into the Search Queues field. By default the list is filtered to show Current communication queues. An alternative filter can be applied using the Filter by drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. Click on Pause.
  4. Click on Save. The queue caption displays a status of Paused 2.


Note

1 The Search Queues field will match against any element of the communication queue name.

2 The queue can be restarted at any time by navigating to the communication queue (steps 1 and 2) and clicking on Resume Queue.
