The procedure to preview a communication held in a queue is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > Communication Engine > Communication > Communication Queues. The Communication Generation window is displayed.
- Expand a queue generation heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated communication queue, or type its name into the Search Queues field. By default the list is filtered to show Current communication queues. An alternative filter can be applied using the Filter by drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations

- Click on Manage Queues. The Manage Queues tab is activated, revealing a list of communication jobs and their current status in the summary table.
- Select one or more desired communication jobs using the tick boxes provided

- Click on Preview
2. The Communication Generation Preview window is displayed, revealing the merged result for the first selected communication.
- Where multiple communication jobs have been selected for preview, use the Next and Back buttons to navigate between the merged results for each

- Click on Finish to return to the Manage Queues tab.
Tip
1 To aid the selection process, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings: Communication, Created By, Date Time Created, Status, Reason, No of Failures, No of Resend.
Note
1 The Search Queues field will match against any element of the communication queue name.
2 The Preview option is not available for communications that have been cancelled.
3 The Next and Back buttons are intended to navigate between communication jobs only; where only one communication job is selected the buttons are disabled.
