To be able to use the system, each person must be given a user account, a login name and a password. Appropriate access privileges are then assigned to the user account covering the areas of the system they will need to use. Access privileges for all system users are controlled through the creation and management of roles. There is no limit to the number of users that can be created on the system nor indeed the variety of role templates that control their access. To save time it is also possible to clone existing users and roles and then adjust the access rights to suit the specific need. Before creating a brand new role it is always good practice to ensure that one does not already exist that matches your requirements.
