- Expand a category heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated resource subtype, or type its name into the Search Subtypes field
1.
- Click on Action Plans. The Action Plans tab is activated.
- Click on New Plan. The Resource Action Plan window is displayed.
- Using the Plan name drop-down field, select the plan to be linked to the resource subtype. The SLA Days field reflects the target duration period set for the plan.
- To set the action plan as the Default for the associated resource subtype, activate the tick box provided
2.
- Choose an Effective from date for this linked action plan i.e. the date on which the link came into effect
3.
- Choose an Effective to date if the link to the action plan is to be reviewed on a specific date or to capture a change of circumstances; a blank field means the link will be continually valid.
- Click on Confirm. The record is displayed in the Resource Action Plans summary table.
- Repeat steps 4 through 9 to add further action plans.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 The Search Subtypes field will match against any element of the resource subtype.
2 Where a default action plan already exists for the same resource subtype, the end user is asked to affirm the attribute transfer from one to the other.
3 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
