To view the duration of a task path workflow

Parent Previous Next

The procedure to view the duration of a task path workflow is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Cases and Tasks > Task Path Creator. The Task Path Creator window is displayed.
  2. Expand a module heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated task path definition, or enter its name into the Search Task Paths field. By default the list is filtered to show Current task path definitions. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. Click on Path. The Path tab is activated.
  4. Using the Version drop-down field, select the correct variant of the task path workflow structure, ready for analysis of the embedded target completion schedule.
  5. Highlight the building block component within the task path workflow structure that will be used as the termination point for the service level calculation.
  6. Click on View Path Duration. The Notifications window is displayed, confirming the calculated result of the combined SLA definitions in operation for all building block components up to and including the selected termination point 2.
  7. Click on OK.
  8. Repeat steps 5 through 7, as required, selecting an alternative termination point for the service level calculation.
  9. Click on Close.

Note

1 The Search Task Paths field will match against any element of the task path definition description.

2 The Decision, Milestone and Complete building block components have no underlying SLA definition attached to them and are therefore excluded from the calculation; a Communication building bock component that is configured for automatic generation also has no impact on the elapsed timeframe.
