The procedure to add contextual information to a task path workflow is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Cases and Tasks > Task Path Creator. The Task Path Creator window is displayed.
- Expand a module heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated task path definition, or enter its name into the Search Task Paths field. By default the list is filtered to show Current task path definitions. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations
1.
- Click on Path. The Path tab is activated.
- Using the Version drop-down field, select the correct variant of the task path workflow structure, ready to capture contextual background in relation to its operation and functional characteristics.
- Click on Version Details. The Version Detail window is displayed, confirming the unique version reference and current status of the selected task path workflow.
- Use the Comment field to add contextual information in support of the task path workflow variant.
- Choose an Effective from date for this task path workflow variant i.e. the date on which it becomes available for the creation of new cases.
- Choose an Effective to date if the task path workflow variant is to be reviewed on a specific date or to capture a change of circumstances; a blank field means the specific version is available for the continued construction of new cases matching the same underlying classification (ASB, CRM, Feedback, Generic Case, Home Buy or Housing Options)
2.
- Click on Confirm. The contextual information is stored against the task path workflow variant, pending further changes.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 The Search Task Paths field will match against any element of the task path definition description.
2 Once an alternative variant is promoted to Live status, the Effective to date is automatically populated to coincide with the change.
