To view the assets within a hierarchy

The procedure to view the assets within a hierarchy is as follows:

1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Assets > Configuration > Asset Hierarchies. The Asset Hierarchy Details window is displayed.
2. Select an asset hierarchy from the alphabetical list or type its name into the Search Asset Hierarchy field. By default the list is filtered to show Current asset hierarchies. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
3. Click on View. The View tab is activated, revealing the position of each asset relative to the root (top level) asset and all associated parental assets. Click on a section level pointer icon () to collapse or expand the section and all related sub-sections 2.

Note

1 The Search Asset Hierarchy field will match against any element of the hierarchy name.

2 By default all hierarchical sections are displayed fully expanded.
