The procedure to reset a user password is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > Security > Access Rights > User Details. The User Details window is displayed.
- Select a user account from the alphabetical list or type their name into the Search Users field. By default the list is filtered to show Current users. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations

- Click on Reset Password. The Password info window is displayed.
- A new system-generated password is created for this user account

- The user status icon (
) will be updated with the hover text Password Reset.
Note
1 The Search users field will match against the Full name of the user and not their User name.
2 To preserve the integrity of each user account, they will be forced to change this system-generated password upon next login. Previously used passwords will not be permitted.
