To define asset type links for a repair

The procedure to define asset type links for a repair is as follows:

1. Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Entity Configuration > Asset Types. The Asset Type Details window is displayed.
2. Select an asset type from the alphabetical list or type its name into the Search Asset Type field. By default the list is filtered to show Current asset types. An alternative filter can be applied using the Filter by drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
3. Click on New Repair Asset Type Links. The Select Repair Asset Type Links window is displayed.
4. Using the Asset Types drop-down field, multi-select all parameter values associated with the current asset type. For example, a flat may be linked to a communal area, a lift and a block.
5. Click on Save. The new asset type links are displayed in the Repair Asset Type Links summary table.

Note

1 The Search Asset Type field will match against any element of the asset type description.
