The procedure to add an action plan to an asset void episode is as follows:
- Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the asset address

- Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon (
).
- Click on Asset Details. The Asset Details window is displayed for the current asset.
- Click on History. The History tab is activated, revealing a list of all chronological agreement and void episodes for the asset in the Rent summary table.
- Double-click on a row matching a void episode against which an action plan will be linked. The Asset Void Episode window is displayed.
- Click on Action Plan. The Action Plan tab is activated.
- Click New Plan
2. The Action Plan window is displayed.
- Using the New plan drop-down field, select the action plan to be linked to the asset void episode.
- Choose a Start date for the first action in the plan using the calendar icon (
), or type in the value directly (format DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY) i.e. the date on which the action plan commences for the asset void.
- Click on Confirm
3. All actions within the action plan path are displayed in the Action History summary table.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 The search facility will return all possible matches for any corresponding address field once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.
2 When an asset record is first created, a default action plan may be automatically assigned, based on the selected type e.g. House, Flat, Bungalow, etc.
3 Only one action plan can be effective at any one time; where an existing plan is already in operation, the end date will be automatically populated to coincide with the start of the new plan.
