Parent Previous Next

The procedure to add an additional entry to an asset void action plan is as follows:

  1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the asset address 1.
  2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
  3. Click on Asset Details. The Asset Details window is displayed for the current asset.
  4. Click on History. The History tab is activated, revealing a list of all chronological agreement and void episodes for the asset in the Rent summary table.
  5. Double-click on a row matching a void episode against which an additional action will be linked. The Asset Void Episode window is displayed.
  6. Click on Action Plan. The Action Plan tab is activated.
  7. Click on New Action 2. The Action window is displayed.
  8. Using the New action drop-down field, select an additional action to be linked to the asset void episode, filtered by the current action plan 3.
  9. Choose a Start date for the additional action using the calendar icon (), or type in the value directly (format DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY) i.e. the date on which the individual action commences for the asset void 4. The Target date field is populated with the anticipated completion date, derived from the number of SLA days linked to the individual action record.
  10. Use the Notes field to add any contextual data that is relevant to the linked action.
  11. Click on Confirm. The additional action is added to the Action History summary table.
  12. Click on Save.

Note

1 The search facility will return all possible matches for any corresponding address field once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.

2 Additional actions can be added to the asset void until such time as the episode comes to an end.

3 Only actions linked to the current plan but not already defined as part of the critical action path will be available for selection.

4 The Start date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank; in contrast, the Completed date for a newly-added action would typically be left blank at the point of initial entry.
