To view the details of a service charge administration rule

The procedure to view the details of a service charge administration rule is as follows:

Navigate to Quick Menu > Service Charges > Configuration > Groups. The Service Charge Group window is displayed.
Expand a functional unit heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated service charge group, or type its name into the Search Groups field. By default the list is filtered to show Current groups. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
Click on Rules. The Rules tab is activated, revealing a list of all administration rules applicable to the service charge group in the Admin Rules summary table.
Highlight the row matching the administration rule detail to be viewed.
Click on View Admin Rule Detail. The Service Charge Admin Charge Rule window is displayed, revealing all attributes configured for the selected administration rule. Certain fields are worthy of special note and are captured in the table below.

1 The Search Groups field will match against any element of the service charge group description.

Field	Description
Minimum period admin charge per asset	The minimum administration fee levied to a tenant irrespective of the tenancy duration.
Maximum period admin charge per asset	The maximum administration fee levied to a tenant within the accounting period, typically annually.
Lower service charge threshold	The minimum service charge value below which administration fees do not apply under this rule.
Upper service charge threshold	The service charge value above which no further administration fees are applicable under this rule.
Percentage	The percentage rate applied to each valid cost element within the service charge group, used to calculate the overall administration fee.
Fixed Amount	The flat rate fee levied for the administration charge.
