To remove a building block connection from a task path workflow

Parent Previous Next

The procedure to remove a building block connection from a task path workflow is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Cases and Tasks > Task Path Creator. The Task Path Creator window is displayed.
  2. Expand a module heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated task path definition, or enter its name into the Search Task Paths field. By default the list is filtered to show Current task path definitions. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. Click on Path. The Path tab is activated.
  4. Using the Version drop-down field, select the correct variant of the task path workflow structure from which a building block connection will be deleted. The corresponding task path workflow structure is displayed in the design area, revealing all inherent building block components and associated connections (joins).
  5. Highlight the relevant building block connection to be removed from the task path workflow structure.
  6. Click on Remove Selected 2. The specific building block connection is removed from the design area.
  7. Click on Save.

Note

1 The Search Task Paths field will match against any element of the task path definition description.

2 This option is only activated on selection of a 'draft' or 'pending' task path workflow i.e. to uphold system integrity, an end user is not permitted to apply any changes to a live structure.
