The procedure to define a repair priority rule parameter value is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Configuration > Priorities. The Priority Details window is displayed.
- Select a repair priority from the alphabetical list or type its name into the Search Priority field. By default the list is filtered to show Current priorities. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations

- Use the Cost from field to enter the lower threshold for the repair order value. The Up and Down arrows are available to increment or decrement the value, as required.

- Using the Suggested priority drop-down field, select the parameter value that represents the default for the priority rule.
- Choose an Effective from date for this repair priority rule i.e. the date on which it became active
3.
- Choose an Effective to date if the repair priority rule is to be reviewed on a specific date or to capture a change of circumstances; a blank field means the repair priority rule will never expire.
- Click on Save. The entry appears in the Priority Rules summary table.
- To add or update additional repair priority rules, repeat steps 4 through 12.
Tip
1 Where only a small number of parameter values are not required, activate the tick box first and then de-select items using the drop-down field; the tick box will be automatically removed once an item is de-selected.
Note
1 The Search Priority field will match against any element of the description.
2 The permitted allocation of repair priorities will be governed by these selections.
3 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
