To view the milestones within an asset void case file

Activated through the system preference Use Enhanced Voids, case-oriented functionality can be applied to the management of asset voids (organisation and non-organisation properties), as well as resource episodes (focused on the delivery of wraparound tenant services). In particular, an action plan to make ready a specific resource can be closely controlled through the execution of a Generic Case, with the associated task path workflow structure detailing all significant events and milestones (often referred to as signposts, these can be incorporated within the overall workflow to denote the successful completion of a distinct phase and herald the start of the next one).


The procedure to view the milestones within an asset void case file is as follows:

  1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the asset address 1.
  2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
  3. With the Asset Summary in current focus, click on History. The History tab is activated, revealing a list of all chronological agreement and void episodes for the asset in the Rent summary table.
  4. Double-click on a row matching the void episode against which CRM or Generic Case files have been linked. The Asset Void Episode window is displayed.
  5. Click on Cases. The Cases tab is activated, revealing all ongoing case files that have been triggered to steer the management of the asset void episode.
  6. Highlight the row matching the case file containing a series of key milestones.
  7. Click on View Milestones. The Case Milestones window is displayed, revealing all signposted events within the underlying task path workflow structure. Certain fields are worthy of special note and are captured in the table below.
  8. Click on Close.


Note

1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for any corresponding address field once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.


Field

Description

Case Start Date

The date on which the case was launched against the asset void episode.

Case Target Date

The projected case completion date dictated by the overarching service level agreement.

Milestone

The name given to each discrete event, providing contextual background to its scope and purpose.

Status

The latest status ascribed to the signposted event e.g. Complete, Pending.

Date

The date on which each individual milestone was completed.
