The procedure to run a bulk communication is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > Communication Engine > Communication > Bulk Communications. The Bulk Communications window is displayed.
- Expand a generation management method and select an associated bulk communication from the alphabetical list, or type its name into the Search Bulk Communications field. By default the list is filtered to show Current communications. An alternative filter can be applied using the Filter by drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations

- Click on Run Now
2. The Run Bulk Communication window is displayed, revealing a list of recipients matching the selection criteria in the Recipients summary table.
- Select one or more recipients of the communication using the tick boxes provided

- Click on Run Now. The end user must affirm the operation before the communication jobs are despatched to the appropriate queue

Tip
1 To aid the selection process, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings: Recipient Name. Method or Postal Address.
Note
1 The Search Bulk Communications field will match against any element of the communication name.
2 This option checks that conditional statements have been set for the recipient cohort and that all mandatory parameters have a value or response recorded against them, with supporting end user warning messages. Where no recipients have been identified, the end user is returned to the Recipients window.
3 Scheduled bulk communications will only appear for processing in the actual queue once the scheduled date is reached.
