The procedure to remove a question dependency rule from a form template is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Configuration > Form Templates. The Form Templates window is displayed.
- Expand a category heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated question form template, or type its name into the Search Templates field. By default the list is filtered to show Current question form templates. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations
1.
- Click on Rules. The Rules tab is activated, revealing a list of rules defined for the question form in the Template Rules summary table.
- Double-click on a row matching a template rule to be revised. The Rule Setup window is displayed, revealing all question dependencies linked to that rule in the summary table.
- Highlight a row matching the question dependency to be removed. All conditional attributes defined for that question dependency are displayed.
- Click on Remove. The question dependency is deleted from the summary table
2.
- Click on Next. The Rule Setup window is displayed, revealing all conditional outcomes that are still valid for the remaining question dependencies.
- Click on Confirm. The revised conditional rule is displayed in the Template rules summary table.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 The Search Templates field will match against any element of the question form template name.
2 System validation guidelines ensure that at least one question dependency must exist for the form template rule.
