To export SOR codes and prices to a delimited file

Parent Previous Next

The action button Export Schedule and Prices supports the compilation of a delimited output file (Comma Separated Variable format), containing the constituent characteristics for each entry (SOR Table, Trade, Section Trade, SOR Description, Default Priority, etc.) and the defined attributes (Appointable, Frequent Use Warning, Crew Task, etc.). Additionally, for each captured SOR code, all valid contract prices will be appended to the exported record and therefore, to uphold the integrity of the file structure, each unique price variance constitutes a separate data row, with all core elements repeated.

The procedure to export SOR codes and prices to a delimited file is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Repairs > Configuration > Schedule of Rates. The Schedule Of Rates Details window is displayed.
  2. Click on Export Schedule and Prices. The SOR code extract, transcending all maintained records, is exported to an output file, ready for analysis and manipulation 1.
  3. Click on Open to view the exported data instantly, or Save to store the file in a custom folder for subsequent retrieval 2.

Note

1 The prescribed file format is CSV (Comma Separated Variable) and will be automatically enforced by the export data process; by default, the file naming convention is ScheduleOfRates.csv.

2 Where a file of the same name already exists in the destination folder, the new extract will be annotated with an incremental suffix counter.
