To qualify an applicant's eligibility for housing based on their initial responses to medical-related questions, a standardised assessment process can be conducted in support of the formal verification requirements. The configuration options available to the end user include the customisation of different medical assessments, each linked to their own form definition - the questionnaire used to elicit the relevant responses - and generic case type, which will be automatically launched once the assessment is enacted.
The procedure to create a new allocations medical assessment definition is as follows:
Tip
1 Where only a small number of parameter values are not required, activate the All tick box first and then deselect individual items from the full list, as appropriate; the All tick box will be automatically removed once an item is deselected.
Note
1 System validation checks ensure that the description entered for each new medical assessment definition is unique for the effective period.
2 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
3 To amend the details of an existing medical assessment definition, select an entry from the alphabetical list (or type its name into the Search Medical Assessments field) and repeat steps 3 through 9. By default the list is filtered to show Current medical assessment definitions. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations. Only a limited number of fields can be updated once a record has been created.
