Housing organisations can launch any number of campaigns on a whole spectrum of topics, supporting wider tenant engagement: offering practical guidance on matters of social inclusion, anti-social behaviour and personal security; promoting upcoming training programmes focused on professional development opportunities; raising the awareness of new policies and directives. Not all types of campaign are relevant to all contact groups and so it is important to target the right audience. Indeed, creating a better connection between their potential needs and what the social housing provider has to offer maximises the likelihood of a positive outcome. For instance, a campaign encouraging tenants of low-income housing facilities to adopt energy conserving behaviours might only be appropriate to a certain subset of customers.
The procedure to assign campaign exclusion preferences to a contact group is as follows:

1 Where only a small number of parameter values are not required, activate the All tick box first and then de-select individual items from the full list, as required; the All tick box will be automatically removed once an item is de-selected.
