To apply a multiplication factor to a rent points score

Parent Previous Next

The procedure to apply a multiplication factor to a rent points score is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Rents > Configuration > Rent Points Elements. The Rent Points Elements window is displayed.
  2. Expand a company heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated element, or type its name into the Search Elements field.
  3. Click on Multiplier. The Multiplier tab is activated.
  4. Click on New Multiplier. The Multiplier window is displayed.
  5. Using the Frequency drop-down field, select a parameter value appropriate for the multiplication factor e.g. Daly, Weekly, Monthly, etc.
  6. Enter the Multiplier decimal value into the field provided i.e. the factor by which rent points scores will be increased 1.
  7. Choose an Effective from date for this multiplier record i.e. the date on which it came into effect 2.
  8. Choose an Effective to date if the multiplier record is to be reviewed on a specific date or to capture a change of circumstances; a blank field means the multiplier record will be continually valid.
  9. Click on Confirm 3. The new multiplier record is displayed in the Multipliers summary table 4.
  10. Click on Save.

Note

1 The multiplier value can be recorded up to 2 decimal places.

2 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.

3 Only one multiplier can be effective for the same frequency at any one time; where dates overlap the end user will need to revise the entries accordingly. Where the Effective to date for the previous matching entry is blank, this will be automatically populated to coincide with the start of the new record.

4 To amend the details of a multiplier record, double-click on the desired row in the Multipliers summary table and repeat steps 6 through 9.
