The procedure to add an automatic completion building block to a task path workflow is as follows:
- Prerequisite procedural steps are covered separately in the topic To configure the workflow structure of a task path definition. Refer to these before proceeding to step 2.
- With the Path tab activated, use the Version drop-down field to ensure that the correct variant of the task path workflow structure is displayed.
- Using the standard 'drag and drop' technique, transfer a new Complete (
) building block to the design area. The new building block instance appears in the design area, ready for positioning at the logical endpoint of a task path workflow branch
1.
- Establish the required connections (joins) to this automatic completion building block component, linking through to the available target node icons (
)
2. This requisite step is covered separately in the topic To join building block components within a task path workflow.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 The outcome of this building block is to automatically complete the case framework component managed through the task path workflow - an ASB category, a Feedback stage, a CRM case, etc.
2 An automatic completion building block cannot be configured as a predecessor component within the task path workflow structure.
