Parent Previous Next

The procedure to view the service charge schedule for a group is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Service Charges > Configuration > Groups. The Service Charge Group window is displayed.
  2. Expand a functional unit heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated service charge group, or type its name into the Search Groups field. By default the list is filtered to show Current groups. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. Click on Schedule. The Schedule tab is activated.
  4. Using the Period and Rent charge type drop-down fields, select the desired financial period and corresponding rent category to filter the cost element breakdown to be included in the schedule. A list of all matching service charges is displayed in the Service Charge Schedule summary table 1. Certain fields are worthy of special note and are captured in the table below 2.
  5. Furthermore, a summation of the cost element charges is displayed as headline figures, calculated separately for Apportioned costs (the cascaded charge components allocated to this group) and Fixed costs (the flat rate fees applicable to this group).
  6. Click on Close.

Tip

1 By default, all service charges are displayed in alphabetical order, by cost element; to aid in identification and analysis, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings.

Note

1 The Search Groups field will match against any element of the service charge group description.
