As the EDM content structure grows organically, it is important that Civica Cx Housing reflects the latest folder names and intrinsic property values for the external document store, therefore ensuring that all reference mapping records are current. To facilitate this, the Reset Configuration Data option can be used at regular intervals to capture the latest records from the EDM system, with all newly-identified values being automatically appended to the corresponding configuration parameter lists.
The procedure to update the document classification structure within an Alfresco EDM integration service is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Configuration > Integration Management. The Integration Management window is displayed.
- Expand the Alfresco document store subheading from within the nested EDM System classification structure and select an associated integration service from the alphabetical list (or enter its name into the Search Integrations field). By default the list is filtered to show Current integration services. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations
1.
- Click on Document Management. The Document Management tab is activated, revealing all discrete document launch points configured for the integration service in the EDM Document Location summary table.
- Click on Refresh Configuration Data. The latest folder locations and the custom document referencing attributes are retrieved from the EDM store, ready for subsequent mapping opportunities.
Note
1 The Search Integrations field will match against any element of the EDM service description.
