The procedure to transfer a rent account payment is as follows:
- Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of either the responsible contact for the agreement or the asset address

- Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon (
).
- Click on Agreements (contact summary 360 view) or History (for an asset)
2. The Agreements tile (or History tab) is activated, revealing a list of all agreements associated with the contact (or asset) in the Agreements (or Rent) summary table.
- Double-click on the specific agreement from which a rent account payment will be transferred. The Agreement Details window is displayed.
- Click on Accounts. The Accounts tab is activated.
- Double-click on the specific account from which a payment will be transferred. The Account Details window is displayed.
- Click on Transactions. The Transactions tab is activated, revealing a list of transactions posted to the account.
- Highlight the desired row matching a payment transaction to be transferred to an alternative account.
- Click on Transfer Payment. The Transfer Payment window is displayed.
- Select the Transfer to account reference using the spy-glass icon (
) or type in the value directly i.e. the account onto which the payment will be transferred. The Search Account window is displayed.
- Enter sufficient account-related details into the search fields provided and click on Search. All possible matches are returned in the Accounts summary table.
- Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. The Transfer to account reference field is populated with the matching result.
- Enter the Date of the payment transfer using the calendar icon (
), or type in the value directly (format DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY)

- Use the Notes field to add contextual information relevant to the payment transfer e.g. an internal reference to augment the transaction.
- Click on Confirm. The end user is asked to affirm the payment transfer and a new transaction entry, categorised as Payment Transfer, appears in the Account Details summary table

Note
1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for a contact's first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached; it will likewise return all possible matches for any corresponding address field.
2 The availability and customisation of all Contact Summary 360 View tiles is controlled separately for each end user via their unique system profile.
3 The date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
4 The value of the payment transfer transaction is equal and opposite to the original payment to which it relates i.e. positively signed; the contra entry appears on the selected 'Transfer to' account.
