The procedure to remove part codes from a materials store template is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > Stock Control > Configuration > Store Templates. The Store Templates window is displayed.
- Select a materials store template from the alphabetical list or type its name into the Search Templates field. By default the list is filtered to show Current templates. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations

- With the Details tab in current focus, all part codes ascribed to the materials store template are displayed in the Template Items summary table

- Activate the Select tick box against each part code to be removed from the materials store template.
- Click on Remove Selected Template Items. The Remove Store Template Item window is displayed.
- Choose an Effective to date to set the future expiration date for the chosen part codes i.e. denoting the point at which their inclusion within the materials store template will be suspended.
- Click on Save. The corresponding entries are updated within the Template Items summary table to reflect the specified expiration date

Tip
1 By default, all material parts are displayed alphabetically by code; to aid identification, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings.
Note
1 The Search Templates field will match against any element of the materials store template name.
2 Where a part code has been removed in error, or the expiration date needs to be revised, double-click on the corresponding row to reveal the Update Template Item window and override the Effective to date accordingly; assigned stock control values can also be adjusted at the same time.
