The procedure to remove a property cost from a home buy case is as follows:
- Using the Advanced search spy-glass (
), select Home Buy Case as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Case ID as the search criteria
1.
- With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The Home Buy Case Details window is displayed.
- Click on Cost Floors / Defects. The Cost Floors / Defects tab is activated, revealing a list of all identified costs pertinent to the sale of the property in the Cost Floors summary table
2.
- Highlight the row matching the cost floor element to be removed.
- Click on Remove Cost Floor. The end user is asked to affirm the action before the entry is removed from the Cost Floors summary grid
3.
Note
1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. start date range, stage, company, status) to ensure that the correct home buy case is returned; an alternative Search by category of Contact or Contact Group may be selected to extend the available search fields.
2 All 'manual' and 'derived' cost floor entries coexist within the same data grid, and are differentiated through the accompanying Note column.
3 Any cost floor entry deleted in error can simply be recreated.
