To remove a library question from a group

The procedure to remove a library question from a group is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Configuration > Group Library. The Group Library window is displayed.
  2. Select a question group from the alphabetical list, or type its name into the Search Groups field. By default the list is filtered to show Current question groups. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. Highlight the specific question in the summary list i.e. the question to be deleted from the group.
  4. Click on Remove Question 2.
  5. Click on Save 3.


Note

1 The Search Groups field will match against any element of the question group name.

2 Where a system question is selected, any related questions that are inextricably linked will be automatically removed at the same time e.g. Contact Ethnicity, Contact Ethnicity Notes and Contact Nationality; such links are governed entirely by the system.

3 The end user is asked to affirm that the question will be removed from all associated form templates; clicking on Close will stop the action, allowing for an alternative group to be created with a reduced set of questions.
